BVEC at the Department of Labor

BVEC was invited by the Department of Labor to the “Black Veterans and Good Jobs” listening session with Deputy Assistant Secretary of Policy Julian Purdy, Assistant Secretary James D. Rodriguez, and Veterans' Employment and Training Services (VETS) to provide sustainable solutions to address the gaps in resources available to veterans - including startup capital and incentives for veteran-owned small businesses as well as service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, among other critical action items.
